A Quick Overview of Your New Home Buying Experience with Crowne Communities

Purchasing a new home is a very exciting experience. The process requires many details to be decided and arranged. While Crowne Communities is building your new home, you will participate by taking care of several very important aspects of your purchase. The chronological list that follows outlines the events that typically take place in the purchase of a new home. Where time frames are specified, it is vital that they be observed in order for us to make a timely delivery to you.

PURCHASING YOUR HOME

You will receive the Purchase Agreement and Addendums upon purchasing your home. These documents comprise the legal understanding regarding the purchase of your new home. Please read the Purchase Agreement and all attachments carefully. We will assist you with any questions you may have.

APPLYING FOR YOUR LOAN

Once the Purchase Agreement has been signed, arranging the details for financing is next. To assist you, we suggest a lender that we have had good experience with in the past. We do require that you at least pre-qualify for the financing with this particular lender, but we do not prohibit you from using any other lender of your choice. This section contains hints and information on the loan process.

YOUR NEW HOME SELECTIONS

Next you have your New Home Selections.  This section will assist you in the exciting process of customizing your new home with your personal selections.

CONSTRUCTION OF YOUR HOME

During the construction of your home we welcome you to schedule any visits to the site. See the “Construction of Your Home” section and the “Construction Site Entry” portion of your purchase contract for comments on safety, security, work in progress, and scheduling visits to the site.

HOMEOWNER ORIENTATION

The Homeowner Orientation has two purposes. The first is to demonstrate the features of your home and discuss maintenance and warranty. Equally important, we want to confirm that we have delivered your new home at the same level of quality we presented to you at the initial sale and with all your selections installed. For detailed information review “Homeowner Orientation.”

CLOSING YOUR HOME

The documents you will sign and other important details about the closing process are discussed in “Closing on Your Home.” Guidelines to assist you in preparing for closing and move-in are included.

CARING FOR YOUR HOME

Many of your responsibilities as an owner are discussed in “Caring for Your Home.” Crowne Communities also has some responsibilities under the terms of our Limited Warranty. Beginning now to become familiar with the maintenance of your home will be beneficial for you and for our commitment to maintain a quality warranty service.

YOUR FEEDBACK AND SUGGESTIONS

Our desire to maintain open communication with you extends through the buying process and after your move-in. In an effort to improve the product and service we provide, we invite and welcome your comments on how we’ve performed. Our goal is to build the best home and the best customer relationship possible. As time passes, if your housing needs change, we welcome the opportunity to build another home for you. Any new home information you might need is available through our website. We also appreciate you referring friends and relatives to us.
